INO HARITH CAPITAL (IHC) is a leading fund manager appointed to manage the Namibia Infrastructure Fund and Namibia Infrastructure Fund 2. The company is focussing at spearheading initiatives aimed at ensuring that the public and private sectors capitalise and enjoy great return by investing in infrastructure in Namibia whilst protecting the interests of Investors. IHC was established in 2014 as an unlisted investment manager and licensed by NAMFISA (15/UIM/13).

IHC provides equity and mezzanine funding to project developers and sponsors to facilitate infrastructure transaction. IHC is 60 per cent owned by Namibian investors and 40 per cent by Harith General Partners from South Africa. Harith General Partners is a specialist, well-entrenched infrastructure fund manager that manages 2 Pan African Infrastructure Funds (PAIDF 1 – U$630 million Fund and PAIDF2 – U$435 million).

IHC is managing N$780 million committed capital by the Government Institutions Fund (GIPF), via the Namibia Infrastructure Fund (NIF) and Namibia Infrastructure Fund Two(NIF2). The company invests in commercially viable infrastructure projects in Namibia, targeting sectors such as energy, ICT, transport and logistics, health, agro-processing, water and sanitation infrastructure and municipal services (excluding investments in immovable property or property companies as define in Regulation 28 of the Pension Funds Act). These sectors compliment the fund manager’s expertise, deal pipeline and is likely to provide above-average investment returns.
